Bring your family and enjoy a real-life interactive outdoor "Journey to Bethlehem." Meet the wisemen and their camels. Journey through ancient Bethlehem and on your way encounter the arrogant Roman guards, dozens of merchants working their trade and sympathize with the pain of paying taxes. Join the shepherds while they watch their sheep in the fields.
Journey to Bethlehem, an interactive drama, is a four-night outdoor production in Auburn that features more than 275 costumed actors, vibrant sets, colorful storytelling, and live animals--including camels. This drama production premiered in Auburn in 2006 with 1,500 guests joining the journey. The production has grown in size with an increased number of actors and new in 2008, a brand-new city structure.
Tours, lasting approximately 40 minutes, depart from the Auburn Adventist Academy church located at 5010 Auburn Way South in Auburn, WA.
Everyone needs a ticket to take a tour, there are tour tickets are available at the door. To avoid a long wait, get your tickets online and come a 1/2 hour before your scheduled tour. While guests wait, a Christmas music program is featured in the church.
Monetary donations will be accepted for the Auburn Food Bank and Journey to Bethlehem.
